Chapter 21 Preview...

How does this scene play out? Does it seem like Julian? I have not made up my mind. I can't decide if Julian is just being too mean. But it might be more that I know how mean it is...and I think that a reader would understand as well...but Julian is not really aware of how horrible it is.

Two things I neglected to say before clicking post comment:

"Garak was capable of anything, and about needing a foolproof cover was necessary."

This sentence seems like two separate thoughts that don't want to go together.

Secondly, to answer your posted question. I don't think Julian realizes how mean the statement really is to Garak. The trick is going to be in how Garak reacts and how Julian responds to that reaction.

Garak is going to sulk...and scheme about how to better pleasure 'sexy buns Bashir.' But they may have more ideas in mind. I will proceed with writing Chapter 22 and determine.

Julian is very upset about it. Garak just wants him to have new experiences...the plus sides of the toy...which Julian may "ACCIDENTALLY" discover...would just be Yamok sauce.

I intended to acknowledge you, *bows*, when I posted fully the chapter...I always give credit where credit is due. Just the type of toy idea (dildo) came from you. And I don't think Julian is too mean - well, he is mean but he's in a very vulnerable position right now, so I think it's understandable that he feels the need to strike back.
