Hmm.

I'm not sure. I can recall many of the old period movies... Ya know, those flicks that usually involve Greek/Roman/Levantine gods? I recall that they used a lot of choral voices so that would be similar, no?
I thought the wailing women thing in Troy an interesting touch, because I thought they sounded Celtic.

There's a line of reasoning that suggests the Celts had more of an impact on the Etruscans and Greeks than initially thought.

Wailing women, music stores will have to add that as a specific genre of music now :p Always seemed to me something Middle Eastern for some reason.
