So will the new diagnosis help him to gain some coping skills? I guess that's my big wonder... I think a good diagnosis only helps to an extent- the extent where you say "Oh wow, so THAT'S what's wrong with me, I am not alone!" (which is actually huge, I know)- unless you can actually get some treatment to go with it.
