The torch and the trophy

Before the trophy came the torch just like how
before the victory came all the fights
Time for us to shout for you, dear friend

(Ok, so this one doesn't have any rhythm and rhyme. Kam sae kam feeling tau convey hauraeli hain na, bhai! Some day, some fine day (or may be some fine night) me will write some lines worthy to be called poems.)
