This video shipped with Win 95. I saw it on a Digital Venturis PC (Intel Pentium 75 Mhz) then. It was perhaps the first time that windows could do full screen super quality video. I have remembered this one since. -

FTIR - Frustrated Total Internal Reflection
I find this term amusing, every time I hear it. Its the phenomenon that causes light to break out of a waveguide when an external object comes in optical contact with the waveguide. This phenomenon is used by some finger print sensorers, robotic tactile sensors and also in recognizing multi-touch (MT) input. Here check out this cool Jeff Hann paper
