so bernie got into his first fight yesterday. after the squealing and running around the yard he was kind of tired. but so pumped up from his victory that he couldn't stop walking around the house with a big cat grin on his face. what a guy.

and at it's last glance i ask you this.
does the weight of the jewel perk that smile on your face?
as you respond i notice your eyes have gone blank.
i see your past in front of me. regurgitated, yet new.
compromise the gem.
a thousand pieces bounce across the floor
i recover one. and we begin.

this morning seemed very un-inspirational. very routine. with no excitement or cause.
i think i know why.

i fucking hate bland mornings. nothing is really wrong, but nothing is extra right either.
