Well, Livejournal has evolved from the active place to be to a overall ghost town.  Which was fine, because it still functioned and I didn't care that much (from what tracking I can do, only 3-8 people read this on a semi-regular basis

I guess we should try to figure out how to back up or export all the stuff we've written here. I would be really disappointed to lose it all.

I found a few programs that download your archives as XML and makes them navigable for you. There are others that will make a PDF, which is what I'd like.

There are also services that will print them as books for you, which is something else I'd also like.
