I'm really loving yoga. It's good for so many reasons.

It is - of all the things I've tried it's the most useful for flexibility, posture and tone. Just need to return to being strong minded about doing at least one session a week.

My running and walking regime got stopped cold by first shin splints, and then back issues. *sigh* Once I'm better, I start from the beginning again. :P

But Yay you for taking control! :D

Oh that's no fun. I've only got house moving and a busy social life to excuse my absence. Good luck dealing with your back issues.

Thanks!

Sounds like a good sustainable start.

Ta.

The half bottle of red wine tonight didn't fit into it very well, but one can't be good all the time, right?

Maybe instead of the alcohol intake - maybe change diet and try a low carb diet or a dukan diet (no carbs - faster results)

Well, I've had good results with cutting down alcohol in the past - and I suspect my liver and my brain will thank me for it too.

We're certainly having less pizza and more brown rice now that we've finished unpacking, in any case.

I've also done the whole cold turkey thing on Coke for the past month or so. I can actually sleep soundly (aside from the heat). And I'm feeling slightly better.

I'm impressed- did you get much in the way of headaches? I find I need to cut down caffeine a bit more gradually than that.

For about a day or two but only minor, just keep my fluids up.
