A Friday Night

Friday nights are a good time to post. I don't have to hurry to make dinner, take a shower, finish some work for school the next day, and get in bed at a decent hour the way I do on a school night. When I leave school at 5:30 I can do anything I want until 8:00. I can shop or go home and read or watch TV or take a nap or post in my journal. It's ( Read more... )

Wow that was a really good post Mom! I can perfectly visualize you eating a tuna sandwich and chocolates in your car while listening to christmas carols :D

Thanks. I hated it. It has no voice. It's just there. Like a newspaper article. I guess some days are like that. I wanna write like you. You've got a BIG voice.

I'm gonna bring my leather jacket and cable knit turtleneck and lots of pants. I don't really have any warm clothes. Everything is cotton, no wool. I'll just have to layer up. I do have two pairs of boots that I refused to throw out, but I probably won't bring them. These Boots Are Made for Walking is playing right now! How appropriate.

Well, Brandy and I have lots of sweaters, lots of jackets, sweatshirts, anything you'll need really. And you can fit into all of it. How lucky you are!

Can't wait to see you. I just told Colin tonight that he has no choice in the matter of helping Brandy and I do a complete apartment cleaning the day before you get here hahaa.

Mom, please remember that this is Texas not Montana, the weather this week is going to be in the 70's, last week it was freezing? So bring a little of everything. :)

Usually I am so worn down by Friday that I have no energy to do any of the things Id like to do, so I end up watch the tube until Josh gets off, but we do usually go have dinner somewhere. Now that school is done for a little while all of my nights are free, for whatever I want, and I couldn't be more thrilled! I will finish up my Christmas shopping during the weeknights, and start packing, and cleaning for you and for my move. I have "stuff" everywhere that I really could go ahead and pack away already so I am going to start doing that so when school does start back up I wont panic that I haven't packed anything....
Cant wait to see you, only a week from Wednesday? Or is it Thursday morning?
