It's raining pretty good out there, and I have contracted some kind of germ that is trying to take control of my body. I'm not gonna let it! Dennis has the same bug, but is out on the ocean in Saravon on his "maiden" voyage, so to speak, with 2 of his regular Friday night racing crew. I hope the weather on Molokai is better for them than it is ( Read more... )

Goodluck with the germ. I lost my battle. I bet you have better luck!
Those first few days were a doozy, but I am doing better. I am still pretty weak but I am taking it very easy, lots of couch and bed rest and Josh is taking very good care of me. The doctor made me take two days off work, which I am glad I did, and if I had known I should have taken Wednesday off also, I thought I was gonna pass out halfway through the day, but I also had class and a 20 point excercise so I wanted to stick it out, I hope I didn't infect anyone.

I want to see that movie too, but I have a hard time going to the theater, since I have such a nice tv now, Id rather just wait for video. Oh well...

Josh went to dinner tonight with our friends for a birthday dinner to Roy's. I didn't get to go because I am still contagious. :(
What a bummer. I feel like a leper. Oh well...he didn't get to go when I went for Robin's birthday so I guess thats fair. Anyways Im home alone, if you want to call and say hello tonight or tomorrow.

I always want to call and say hello, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. Also, I don't feel like talking. My head cold went through the typical first stages and i started to feel not so bad on Thursday, but today I was sleepy, in a fog, and my throat got sore. I always start feeling better when I don't talk and when I eat or drink.

Anyhoo, I'm hoping for some long, quality sleep tonight. My school plate is extremely full, but next Friday I'll be out of school for 2 weeks and can get some stuff done. I want to finish my kitchen tile and walls, but feel so punk at the moment that I can't see that happening. Who knows, though. My policy is to remain hopeful.

You need to go to movies, and decorate, and just have fun - more often, AND stop teaching so much that you never check your email. You have a new great-niece named Kiley who was born on 3/4/07 at 8:39 am and weighed in at 6.5 lbs and 18" long. SHe has blonde hair! But you don't know this because you haven't checked your email.

See how insidious email is? I could have picked up a phone and called but did I? Noooo...email is quicker?

I get to see her next week. I am told by both girls that there will be no more grandchildren. I am happy with 9. Good Lord, NINE!

Okay, Brandy, Robin, your turn. The rest of your cousins are now too old to want any more. But you have plenty of time. You are both soooooo young (however, your mom is no spring chicken!)

Smiley Cindy :)

You are so right, Miss Smiley. I need to have more fun. but right now I don't feel like it. I only need more sleep and less phlegm. Hey, phlegm sorta sounds like fun. I mean the words, not the . . . oh never mind. It's only a little bit of alliteration, and very little at that. My brain is full of letters and sounds. And other stuff I wouldn't mention if I hadn't already. Phlegm is actually too nice a word for it. I can think of more appropriate words, but instead, I'm going to remain positive and not think about it.
