Excitement over books and the Internet!

How much do I love computers and the Internet? This will be my summer of books and learning how to use computers to teach my students. In following the links from friends' postings I discover so many fabulous things. No wonder people surf the web.

Can someone tell my why I can't copy and paste a URL any more?

You can't copy and paste a URL because you live on an island and most of the URLs are on the main land US. tee hee. That was supposed to be funny. Now you know why I'm not a comedian. Sounds like some wierd internet issue that I've never heard of. Maybe Brandy and Robin's co-blogger, Wes, will weigh in on that problem. He is a computer guy.

Wes doesn't read my journals. He doesn't know me. He's a friend of Robin's sort of. Brandy or Robin should be able to help, maybe.

I found one pair of shoes that fit from my online shoe search, so I ordered 2 more. I tried Zappo's because they have free returns and no shipping charges, although you pay for that through higher prices, but since I return a lot, it;s a good deal for me.

The world travelers aren't back. It'll be about another week, I think.

I finished reading The Braid, good story. Also I read two other murder/action books that were ok. Sitting by the pool offers alot of reading time! I have nothing left to read on the plane back tomorrow, guess I will have to buy someting?
As far as not being able to copy urls? not sure, but I will ask Josh when I get home. Sounds weird.
