What a Fourth of July!

I'm about to go to the airport to join 11 other teachers to fly to Washington D.C. for the Model Schools Conference, which starts Saturday evening. We'll be staying at the Washington Hilton for 6 nights. The Fourth is the last day of the conference, and it's a half day, so we will be seeing some spectacular fireworks, I hope and expect. EXACTLY! I did try, but it's too hard and expensive and I'll be tired from my trip already.
