RIP: Arthur Marx

Arthur Marx (1921-2011) died yesterday.

Marx was the son of Groucho Marx and his first wife, Ruth Johnson. By 1939, he was a ranked tennis player and lost to Bobby Riggs in the finals of the Cincinnati Masters in 1941.

He wrote the plays Minnie's Boys, about his grandmother, father, and uncles, and Groucho: A Life in Review, as well as three

Wow--I was actually just thinking about the Marx kids the other day (including Harpo's, though I think they were adopted), and looked up Arthur on Wikipedia to see if he was still alive.
