Where's part one?

I love the idea of 'pressing Proust' - that seems so apt and what one actually does with Proust, forcing him on others, passages, volumes, the lot.

Edges—yes, well, pushing edges and pressing Proust is perhaps what it's all about.

heh i really like the fact that part one is elsewhere (somewhere), and we start with 2 - but i can be incorrigible.

also, i'm not sure if you're aware of the sexual-slang term EDGING.

I'm aware of the sexual connotation, yes. Which is to say: bringing Proust into it only further emphasises the sexual, I should think.

I'm naively in the dark - what's edging?

Also - the first, proto-experience is lost. Always irretrievable, revised. Memory alters. Hence, The revisionist.

everyone else seems to always have a response. a well written response. i guess reading you is kindof a mental break for me. i can kindof just go, "i like that," and not have to think past that. can if i choose, but am not required to do so
