I feel like I can envision this early-morning scene perfectly; you've rendered it almost cinematically, to some extent—it's really amazing. I'd love to see what this looks like out of draft form; I imagine it being monumental. The first two lines of the last stanza for some odd reason remind me of Plath's 'Lesbos'.
