Yeah, I see your point for sure. I think my comments barely qualify as a moview review in the strictest sense because my main concern doesn't lie in the movie-in-itself but with the responses to the movie given by the Lee and the actors, as well as the Golden Globe committee. The movie, whether about "orientation" or "fluidity", is about a same-sex love affair. But both the GG nominations (of the on- and off-screen hetero couple), and Ang Lee's interviews about the film seek to negate this. And that's the source of my anger, not the film itself.
Other than the goofy acting, I thought the film was brave and wonderful and sad.

Yeah, hey, sorry. I'm working on my honours seminar presentation and Master's program applications, which need to be taken care of in the next ten days.
