I loved that last stanza the first time I read it, too. :)

I'm confessing that I don't get "Mr. Wolf". Every other word is great. I really like the sentence structure. Is that an odd thing to like?

It's so unfocused. I re-wrote it grouping the similar thoughts together. I dunno.

"What time is it, Mr Wolf" is a children's game where the kids run forward, stopping and starting depending on which way the "Wolf" is looking. Eee... the intention is to compare the game to the stopping of the thaw--the "refreeze" that come at night.
