My past is catching up to me

So, I've been hanging out of Facebook off and on for a while now.    Now many of you know, I'm pretty weird.  I always was in high school.  I liked to read, was in to D&D even though I didn't get to play.  I was considered nerdy and bookish.  I was on the speech and debate team, that was a kiss of death.  I never really fit in at my preppy catholic

I'm still not on Facebook, partly because I want to avoid these kinds of encounters with my past. ;) I also don't have the conventional husband-kids-house type of lifestyle - as a writer/artist I live very differently from "the norm" and it's sometimes jarring to me when I realize how far I've journeyed from my suburban childhood, with all of its particular expectations. Good luck to you, in whatever you decide about going to your reunion. :)
