Mother's Day was nice in spite of itself. My son made me very tasty pancakes and bacon for breakfast. (He also left all the dishes for me to clean, but I figure that's to be expected.) After we ate, we went to Six Flags where we discovered something more exciting than roller coasters

I am such a bad mom. I'd laughed at the fear and made jokes about it after it was all over. How funny that she felt that the world should stop for her and her little kid.
