[Sasuke looks at the scrupulously tidy writing on the small peice of folded paper with growing suspicions. Hinata had been kind enough to slip the neatly folded note into his locker to remind him that she would be in the Home Ec rooms and would 'definitely appreciate his assistance if he wouldn't mind'. He could imagine her timid little face as she would mumble out the words, head ducked and hidden behind her long fringe. And while he did hold his culinary skills in the most high regard (far superior to Naruto's, as if he were a plausible comparison) he had his reservations about going. If he helped make something, did that mean he had to attend the Thanks Giving dinner the school was holding? He would have been content with going home to his quiet house, then playing Halo at an outrageously high volume, just to irritate Itachi ( ... )

[Thumping in the corridor then the home ec kitchen doors slam open with a BANG - yep, Naruto is here. He's so excited to have been invited to cook with people especially even if especially? even if one of them is Sasuke (because duh, they are enemies. Or if they weren't, they are now) and Hinata is the nicest girl ever and keeps making him lunch (ergo, cooking with Hinata = eating things Hinata will make) and Naruto is pretty good at cutting up vegetables and...y'know, stuff like that so there's totally heaps of stuff he can do to help.

Actually, he's just pretty excited to hang out with people outside class. He doesn't get out much.

[Do you see this face? This is the face of a BROKEN MAN. He knew Sasuke was kind of a dick but never imagined this would extend to slaughtering his own food. The turkey is flapping like crazy and looking at Naruto with soulful eyes that say 'please Mister, save me from this horrible creature'.

With the fate of an innocent riding on his shoulders, Naruto feels his resolve harden. He looks Sasuke in the eyes, all srsbusiness like you would not believe.]
