Vikram Seth

Vikram Seth is a dude I first ran into as the author of this 1400 page epic about modern indian society called 'A Suitable Boy'. He apparently can only write enormous, burgeoningly complex novels, because every single one is over 800 pages and has a cast the size of a small country.

Apparently, though, he writes poems too. I was at Shields Library,
