i think normally i'd think this was funny, but im actually just ashamed that Time magazine didn't render the votes null and void...it's just such a CLEAR hack b/c of the gap between first and second! online polls are so easy to rig these days! Time should have at least realized it was fake when they saw how fast the votes were accumulating. even the Victoria's Secret poll people figured out they were hacked and tried blocking IP addresses from certain schools.
sometimes i think 4chan is funny and sometimes they're just sad, and i guess this sort of falls somewhere in the middle. i personally dont care who Time magazine names at the top of any poll, so haha, whatever.
Lol, I've heard but still...they went with it. XDD A couple of years ago it was Rain, the Korean pop star, who was named the most influental. XD Colbert was mad - he was runner up or something. And he did a hilarious "singing in Korean" mv spoof to get even. XDD
The funny thing is that Time even acknowledged that the poll was likely inaccurate (read: definitely completely wrong), but basically said "F*** it" and posted the results anyway.
