I just started "Slaughterhouse Five"....I plan on reading a bunch of Vonnegut's books if I like this one. (yes I know "omgomgomg you will! he is so awesome! blah blah"  So maybe if/when I like him**

Also, I got "This Side of Paradise" by F. Scott Fitzgerald aka the author of "The Great Gatsby" because I loved how beautifually descriptive he wrote in ( Read more... )

That's a good one. Also, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Steven Chbosky is one of my very favorite books. "The Stranger" by Albert Camus is also very good, and a quick read.

Vonnegut is my favorite, hands down. We have all his books, I could mail you some if you can't find them elsewhere. We also have Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. We also have Palahnuiks books too, most of them I think.

I suggest Haruki Murakami. My favorite so far is Norwegian Wood. Its about this college kid in Tokyo in 60s. Its really good. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll mail that one too. I'll look through my books tonight and get back to you.
