First off, I don't know how updated LJ is on the whereabouts of my parents. Of course we all lived in Hawaii together, then I left, and they left shortly after to stay with my sister Casey. Her husband was overseas in Iraq so my parents helped out with her two daughters etc for like a month. My parents then moved back to Austin and lived with our ( Read more... )

ahh I so agree with your last line =)

and OMGZ I totally agree the pregnancy baby thing. it seems like everyone from our class either has a baby or is getting married becuase they are gonna have a baby. After being outside of tejas for awhile, I can't help but wonder...is it a Texas thing? (it can't be.!)

Ha ha ha. No it's not a Texas thing. It is a generational thing. The movie Juno came out for a reason...cause it's true. At a time when birth control is extremely good and accessable (even if you are poor you can usually get it for free at Planned Parenthood still), people just aren't being cautious.

It is a random epidemic. It is like baby boomer generation but at the end of it... it's not happy suburban families...it's young single moms and dads.

Life comes in phases.
