So. Everyone has, at some point, changed their own bedsheets right? Right? Well, have you ever done it in the dark? I have! Hahaha. And I'm proud of it! Even if it is not an impressive feat by a long shot.
Why do I change my bedsheets in the dark? Well no special reason really. It's just because I refrain from changing the sheets immediately after the old ones come off. And when I finally remember to change them, it's night time and I fumble my way to the sheetless bed. Uh-oh, no sheets, plus no lights because younger brother hates it when the lights come on when he's asleep.
Changing the sheets in the dark shouldn't be hard. Except my bed is right against the wall and I can't move it without substaintial noise which would wake my brother and subject me to a round of yelling. So. I end up twisting around in bed getting the sheets to fit in the right corner. Whether or not I'm making an equally substaintial amount of noise I have no idea, but hey no complaints from the only co-habitant so far. :D
Plus the sheets look okay, if a bit wrinkly, when I look at them in the morning. XD
Once I was changing my sheets, in broad daylight. Hahaha. Usually there's this ton of stuff on my bed because I have a queen-sized bed to myself but I only use one side. So I use the other side for books and whatnot. When I sheet change is needed I have to move all the stuff I've accumulated on the bed somewhere else. And it was this fine day I'd moved everything away, including comforters and cushions, and set to work on changing the sheets. After I was done, I began piling everything back on the bed (yes I am that messy and lazy), but couldn't find my pillow. I searched the pile but didn't find it.
Then I looked at the bed. There it was. Under the bedsheets. My brother couldn't stop laughing. To this day I cannot figure out how I managed to wrap the sheets over the bed and pillow without noticing.
