It seems that my mother is just looking for excuses to "fix" me. She seems to be desparately hoping for me to have something seriously wrong with me, be it alcoholism, or anything else. If you can get through to her...I mean REALLY get through to her...then maybe you can change her views on you. Because as long as I've known you, you're one of the most caring, genuine, and helpful dudes I know. Although you may be closer with Emily, I still consider you a sibling, a big brother (even though I'm older, haha!). Well, not much more else I can say (as I'm a wee bit tired), but I hope shit works out, son. Take it easy, bro.

Dude, you are my little brother. I've felt that for as long as I've known you. I told you that during the trip to Maine. I can't think of anyone I'd have rather had on that trip than you, brosef. We also decided that though you may be older, you're still my little brother. Thanks for your words of encouragement, as always.
