Bush Protest

First off, there was a surprisingly passionless crowd of about 5000 people. I went because I oppose the American Missile Defence System and Canada's entry into the program. It was actually amazingly warm, at least 5 or 10 degrees yesterday. And of course, this morning I woke up to 3 inches of snow on the ground, plus they're calling for rain in the next week, so the snow will probably disappear again before coming back.

They had signs, but there was little in the way of vocalization.. Although I usually don't like chanting things. I mean, I chanted a few things that I agreed with, but the act of chanting makes me feel like such a.. bleating sheep.

i wish i was there!

i had to go to a few classes that day

i was sure filled with envy as i saw the six busloads of concordia students getting ready to leave and practicing their chants early tuesday morning
