I sure wish I could find the place pictured in your friends-only pic.

And then live there.

I read a comment you left on oni85 and I cracked up. Add me? I am a boring ass housewife with 2 kids.

'ello—it's Jessica, from once-upon-a-time-we-knew-each-other. I saw you pop up in the comments of my flist lately, and thought I'd like to see your name around more often. Would you be willing to add me?

Of course I remember you, dear! I'm happy to add you, but I think I know where you saw my comment and I have to warn you: one of these days--probably soon--I am going to royally piss Stephanie off, so if you still value her friendship this may not be the best move.

Digging your book reviews, by the way. I work at Barnes & Noble right now, so most of the titles are familiar. I see you don't have A Game of Thrones on your list, or The Name of the Wind (both first in their respective series). I highly recommend them! :)

Stephanie and I aren't friends so much as friends-of-friends; I watch her various train wrecks without comment just because I think it's hopeless to try and talk sense into her. And all of that I of course mean in the best possible supportive friend-of-friend sort of way.

I generally resent and avoid series, but I'm always willing to at least check out reviews on recommended books. Just no promises to read them, yet. ^^

Actually, now that I think about it you would probably like Silk by Baricco (ISBN: 9780307277978). The other two have pretty kickass plot/characters, but Silk is intense and a lot more fancy and literary.
