Our mothers and grandmothers were obviously made of sterner stuff.
Charlotte was driving me crazy today, plus Cara kept sending me text messages asking for all manner of fuck all while I'm dealing with a screaming kid and trying to get ready for work.
When I brought the baby to Cara's work, Cara asked me if we should look into daycare. Simply put: we can't afford it until we pay of the doctor bills.
Trust me, I'm feeling the stress along with you. Sadly, this is Cara's first week back to work.
A neighbor offered help, a stay-at-home dad, I think I might take him up on that...

It seemed to me like you kind of had it down, so I'm a little surprised. I always thought you would jump at the opportunity to quit the job and hang with the kids. Now maybe you are thinking not so much?
I don't envy you the work. But you do have the family you always wanted. So I'm assuming the pay off is worth the cost or work or whatever. But you know that I have no idea how you guys do it. It seems exhausting beyond any level of comprehension to me.
I hope you enjoy the next two days of stolen break-time. You deserve it.
