RIP SUSHI THE BETTA FISH

I first purchased Sushi in april of 2006, this is a memorial to that fateful day in walmart when he caught my eye. Ryan well remembers the day.

See betta fish are only supposed to live 8 months according to google and the walmart ones are sickly anyways. But Sushi lived until february of 2009. That fish lived just to fucking spite me.

I had a red beta that lived for almost two years. Fishy wasn't near as pretty as your Sushi though. Your fish was really pretty. I almost miss watching him flare and make spit bubbles.

ahaha. no I did not make sushi of my sushi. However I was getting ready to move when he died and I didn't get around to, uh, diposing of him and the tank for about a week (gross I know) and Graham faithfully fed him that entire week. When I was getting rid of him Graham asked me what I was doing and I had to explain that Sushi had gone to the big toilet in the sky... a week ago. :P

Seems like Sushi is The Name for betta fish. Sorry to hear it, though.
My fish, Bubbles, died a month or so ago.
He lived about two years- his death was related to a mistake made while changing the water. So unless we're both members of the Lucky Fishowners Club, eight months is iffy. I was surprised by his longevity.
