I find it a bit odd. I've been using Vista for many months now, and while it's not an extraordinary jump in technology, it has been a very reliable, stable OS in my experience. I've got it on the home PC's now, as a matter of fact, just because some of the functions (particularly the dx10 support and the new features for Windows Media Center) have become very useful to me ( ... )

I am not a Mac addict, nor I am a Linux or Windows fanatic. I look at products that make my life easier. I did own a Mac in 2003 and hated it, because a lot of my 3rd party hardware was either not supported or very cumbersome to use, OSX wasn't all that great back then and still had a lot bugs and wasn't really performing well for me. Also, back then Mac were in my eyes totally overprized. Well, I revisited my Mac experience in 2007, mostly because of the Vista debacle, and bought a Mac mini. I didn't expect much of it and was already prepared to sell it on eBay. Instead it has become my primary machine at home, except for gaming, because "it just works". It is easy to use, extremely powerful on the hood and very customizable ( ... )
