it happened again! just as i hit "update journal" and my connection snapped. there goes the long entry. no wonder i hate to post anything up in lj. it's been going against me for past couple of times and i still havent learn my lesson of cut & copy

Stop updating via the website, if you're having connection issues. Use one of the offline tools, such as Semagic, which allows you to save drafts (and lots of other cool things).
