Argghh-- I have to complain about the terrible hot weather in Sacramento today. The forcast was around 103 F. My house is so old and the insulation isn't good so its so hot indoors too! =_

I actually tolerate the heat pretty well, but I was outside in the sun painting most of the day on Saturday. It wasn't entirely fun. I got pretty sunburned.
A lavender farm sounds lovely! I like to make syrup out of it and put the syrup in iced tea, actually. I'm a huge fan of floral flavors, but rose is my fave. There's an herb farm in Vacaville that sells all kinds of herbs. It's not pretty for photoshoots and such, but if you were interested in buying herbs to grow, I can give you the address. We are growing 10 different types of mint this year, most of which were bought from there. I can even tell the difference between all of them!
