I'm fan of your work - been reading your stuff since at least 2006. I just finished The Courtesan Wars and was thoroughly impressed!

◄► Are there any other scenes you'd like to touch from The Courtesan Wars setting? I was thinking something involving Captain Trellig's exploits. Explicit content is OK, or not - you pick. 1000 words?

◄► Varyn topping one of the other characters (new or existing) from your D&D slash. Is 1500 words enough for a decent sex scene? Some element of sizeplay would be awesome, and I think Varyn is suited to it?

If all that's too specific, well, just run with something you like. Donation IDs: 5FJ437126R395583W, 57N735049V258264B.

Thanks so much for chipping in! It's really appreciated.

You seem to have understated the word counts, though! 500 words each, up to 5 prompts, is what I've promised to anyone who donates any amount at all. Any additional amounts are just that - in addition to the 500 base ( ... )

Ah yes, I did misunderstand the word count procedure... Splitting the unaccounted thousand words evenly between the two prompts is a fine idea.

I've read your feedback on the prompts. I'm cool with whatever. Please do as your conscience dictates. :)

Yay! Let me know when you know what you want me to take a pencil to. (Waiting for prompts to be finished until you see something that catches your eye is A-OK.)

Sorry I missed this when you first posted it.

In no particular order:

@)SLA Marines exploring a derelict ship.

@)Varyn's backstory (the half-Winter Wolf cleric).

@)Anything involving Red Sebastien and/or any current or former members of his crew.

@)A "where are they now" look at the characters from "Four and Twenty" a few years later.

Addendum:

@)A medical breakthrough could threaten the livelihood of certain Service Providers in the world of Courtesan's War.

Oh, and feel free to interject naughtiness as you see fit. ;)

I've been informed that I'll be owing you an illustration. :) When you know what will be your pick of scene, please let me know by replying here so I can be sure to see it. Thank you!

My choice is Capt. Sebastien Mercier, as he appears in The Captain's Fancy:

He’d put aside his red coat and his plumed tricorne and his boots; now he wore black trousers and a cream-coloured shirt, both silk, with the latter hanging open on his slender frame.

Enticing, but tasteful.

A bit off-topic, but still perhaps of interest to the readers of this thread: would you be willing & able to provide a way to download all of The Courtesan War chapters in one go? Say, as a PDF? 30 separate chapters is a lot of Right Click, Save As. ;)

I haven't forgotten about this comment, by the way. I don't know very much about e-publishing, but I'll see if I can fiddle around with LibreOffice and make a single-file edition available. Pretty sure it does an export to PDF, so it might just be a matter of prettying it up a little and finding somewhere to put it; but my online time is limited these days, so it may take me a bit yet.
