There is nothing of interest to report. Existence continues along its routine here, supplies continue to be uncommon, and the local populace is nothing if not easily excitable.

When I find the time. I am often using my journal, but given this device's somewhat unique incentive, I find myself utilizing it more and more often.

Not as of this time, but then, I have not been here that long in comparison.

Every unfortunate event draws out a plethora of negative comments and complaints; every death brings out dozens of public posts expressing anger or grief.

After a while, it grows rather monotonous.

If you have nothing of importance to say, why bother reporting at all?

Because suffering the shock the device delivers is more of a distraction than simply posting something inane.

The device delivers a non-lethal but still discomforting electrical shock if it is not utilized on a consistent and regular basis.
