Hee! Thanks! I wanted Cliff icons and could find none, so this happened. ;) Seeing them on another screen now, they all look too red. I'll have to tinker with them. But, yes! Cliff is such a great guy, when he first appeared and then when he came back, too (even with the little extra dash of smart-ass on the second round). Plus, he has pretty eyes.
even with the little extra dash of smart-ass on the second round But this basically happened to everybody during the post-Sorkin years. Somehow, everybody became a bit little less likable even and maybe especially Toby and Bartlet. That's also the reason why I don't really like Amy during the years. Contrary to popular believe, I did kinda like her during seasons three and four but she became too unbearable for me later.
I suppose the way I wrote that made it seem like I meant "despite the little extra dash of smart-ass", but I actually really, really loved how he acquired a little bit of attitude. I feel the same way about everyone else, now that I think of it. I loved the way the characters grew and changed without ever seeming out of character in the later years. I loved how the years in the administration had jaded them and frustrated them, and even distanced them all in a way. It was so very real and natural, and it made them all, I thought, more interesting than ever. *shrug* I like the later years as much as I like the earlier years. So, anyway, I like that Cliff returned with a little extra snark. It seemed really fitting for him.

Thank you! I don't think I could say no to the call of the icons anymore. It's a lost cause. ;)
