So ... the past few weeks I've been asleep on some space station, being used as some sort of organic battery, like a plot out of The Matrix. Everything I experienced was just a convenient way of keeping me sedated so that The Master's machine could feed on my psychic energy ( Read more... )

Yeah, but I tried to stop being Spider-Man once before. It ... didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. As long as I have these powers, I will always be Spider-Man.

That ... is true. I never would have met some of the friends I have now if it weren't for this place ... But I wonder if that really outweighs all the grief its caused, too?
