So apparently Spider-Man had another "altercation" with Scorpion. This time over my boss at the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson. I don't know. Honestly, I don't know. People like Norman Osborn and Eddie Brock Jr. did it for power. But they chose to become like that. Gargan was just some poor bystander that got suckered into this. A human guinea pig. He never asked for this.

That's what's so horrifying, I think. That someone could have this happen without desiring it specifically...

It is almost enough to make me glad we haven't developed anything like this on my world.

I know. And that's why Spider-Man is trying so hard to find the man responsible for this and make him answer for his crimes. I did some digging, and it seems that Stillwell has been condemned for many unethical practices and experiments performed on human subjects.

But that's the thing. Scientific development is not a wicked endeavor. I think it can do so much good, but it all depends on the people who use it.
