In honor of the hallowed ween

Monday it snowed at my house. I woke up and my pumpkins were covered in snow. In October....with snow. It was still snowing. In October. Snow.

Last week the family took the rug rats to a Great Pumpkin Train Ride. The train ride getting to the field with the "party" was neat but the minute we all got off the train the bottom fell out of the sky. It ( Read more... )

they were fish on a stick, not sticks of fish. :)

That's somewhat less disturbing, but possibly indicates that you're acclimating to the country life a bit too quickly.

this is probably true.

It's nice being made of silly puddy, you tend to adapt quickly.

Country isn't bad, it's peaceful, you should try it. :)

I bought four cases of them at the candy outlet store so I can give them out on Hallowe'en: "Fish sticks for you! Sushi on a stick for you!"

And, for the particularly brave, two of the suckers from the zoo that have a cricket in them. We'll see if there are any takers! =)

I truly regret never having found that place before escaping memphis. It sounds like the coolest place ever.

I'm going the boring route this year, just the regular stuff...pixi sticks, pop rocks, kit kats....in the country they don't roll your house for bad candy, they shoot you. :)

I doubt I'll even get any tick or treaters, they would have to hike to get to the front door and back so we'll see. However, all week long kids have been coming by asking to pick apples for their horses so I think in a round about way that counts.

And thank you for the halloween happy, you've got one belatedly coming your way. I've been too sick to make the trek to the post office so expect something next week! =)
