Yeouch!!! I'm a little late reading this so you probably already know to be careful, it usually hurts a lot more the next day or two then when it initially happens. I would have been too shaken up to remember the license plate number, excellent call on your part, hopefully they'll be able to catch him off of that. I would imagine with it being hit & run he was eithe drunk or had no insurance. If you're sober & have insurance there's really no harm in stopping.

ughh i got into a car accident at the end of december. unluckily, it was more serious. it seriously bothers me when people leave the scene of an accident, it's just so cowardly, people should own up to their mistakes! good for you in getting their lisence plate number! i hope they find him for the sake of all the people involved in hit and runs. when i was in my accident, the person who hit me tried to leave the scene and my car was in a tree! how rude.
