His new friends stood firm in his defense against their own people. They were the first to do so in many, many years.

I love the image of this...the concept of having unconditional support for the first time - and from strangers. Lovely, my dear.

This did come out a bit more... angsty thank I expected. And yet, I don't think Teal'c regrets it one bit.

But yeah, it's been a rough road in a lot of ways.
