I'm a week late with this challenge, and I have no excuse for not posting it other than being horribly lazy (although I was busy last weekend, so I'm not surprised I forgot.) And then I didn't think posting it in the middle of the week would have worked, so I left it until now.

Set 16: father, water, stop, deepest, smoke, steam

kasabian fic: tomit had been a school night when toms father finally left, without his bags or a single goodbye the man had waited till they were all busy enough not to notice. toms mum stood in the bathroom shouting at them all to tidy up their rooms whilst she filled up the bath with steaming water. tom remembers watching his dad light another cigarette just as he left the room, his eyes trailing up the grey smoke that seemed to leave a halo around the old mans head ( ... )
