I must admit I've been surprised by how many people this has resounded with, so I hope I've not touched anyone in too badder of a way with this.
Although the theme of this is the phobia/symptoms that are cursing Kame, I really hoped the love and strength between them would be what shone through. Though most of this genre does, I didn't really want grossing people out to be the point of this.

It was quite a while ago I started this, but I think I chose it for my h/c because I wanted something really hard-hitting for comfort. Something where Jin would be supportive through not just a physical or mental issue but a 'full set', that made Kame even wish it all would end.

ohh....i was a bit lost up to the end as to what was really happening to kame...didn't see the link you stated in your note.guess i skipped reading that part.^^

ano...i'm still confused.this "disease" (if i may call it that) is real???i mean...seeds really grow on those holes???or something like that....

i'm really sorry if i wasn't able to get the explanation wiki gave and somehow the pics made me confused all the more....if you could somehow explain it a bit, i would be very thankful.

and with regards to the story, i may not have understood the things that were happening around the disease but i surely understand the great love jin has for kame in here....a very touching love indeed and you were able to depict it all too well!thank you so much for sharing this!^^

There are diseases that have somewhat similar symptoms (usually involving infections or insect eggs, I think), but what I've described isn't real. Trypophobia is a fear 'made up by the internet' of cluster holes (such as honeycomb and lotus pods) but a common example of it is people photoshopped to have the holes from lotus pods covering their skin. So, what Kame has in this isn't real.
