This is an entry all about dolly stuff. D: If you're not interested, just skip along. :D Hehehe!
Firstly, there's an update at
blueberrynutmeg! :D I took these photos to participate for the
sd_sg photo challenge. What prompted me to take this set of photos was all those beautiful korean/japanese customizers' works. T_T I want a DSLR dammit!

So here's my comment. You know that you hate dragging your camera out and sometimes, you don't even take it out to take pictures even if you've brought it out. >__> So the question is, will you take our your DSLR to take pictures if you have one? Only you can answer that question.
The other thing is, what other pictures do you see yourself taking apart from dolly pictures? And do you yourself feel it's justifiable to keep a DSLR just for dolly photos, if that's the case? Especially since the price of a DSLR = price of a doll. Again, it's your call.
Just like to reiterate that DSLR does not necessarily mean good quality pictures and vice versa, as you'd already have heard me say umpteen times. :X Examine your photos and see whether your perceived problems are things you can fix technically, rather than plunging into a whole new camera at once.
Also, you have a 12x zoom, make use of it to produce bokeh?
And wow, the fake!School A >__> I've never heard of Loli Doll before, though? ._.

don't believe everything you see, haha. personally i think colours can be corrected somewhat with photo editors, but the clarity and control that DSLRs give is something that point-and-shoots just cannot match because of the lens.
that said, even if you decide to get a DSLR, don't just get one 'cos it's a DSLR. there are very, very good prosumer cameras out there that are much more portable, and therefore may be more appealing to you.

Er. My current camera is the prosumer cam that is portable and what I feel like it's a step before I head to the DSLR. XD Just sometimes, I want the color palette the DSLR provides .__.
Like in comparison, my camera gives off a 256 color palette, whereas the DSLR gives a 512. D: Do I make sense? ._.?? I'm ranting already. BAH.
