So we're expecting at least eight inches of snow overnight tonight. I know that probably doesn't seem like a lot to those of you that happen to live in the mid-west of the US. Or Iceland. But given that it took me two and a half hours to drive the 14 miles to my place of work when there was nought but a dandruff frosting of snow here around six ( Read more... )

Not too badly, considering! I'm supposedly in one of the worst affected areas, but I've managed to get around in the car without too much hassle. I did have to spend an hour digging the snow around my flat last night, though.

But I am sure you know how it is. The first sign of snow here in the UK and everyone turns into a moron.... ;-)

I feel ya. I noticed that you'd not posted anything for a while. Sometimes the words just don't flow, even though you're dying to wax lyrical about the things that are playing on your mind.

I'm up in Yorkshire, so you can imagine how darned cold and snowy it has been here of late! Things feel like they're easing up now, though.
