I am sorry that I didn't have the guts to say 'yes' when it mattered. I realise that had I said that one simple word, things may have been very different between us. That conversation - February/March 2004 - sticks in my mind. The truth of it is that I wondered if you were in a healthy place and actually meant what you said

Certainly 'tis the season. I'm not without jollity. Just need to exorcise a few things that have been burdening me for too long. How's things?

Things with me are largely cold (had a couple of feet of snow today! Oh well, no work for me!). Had a good Christmas and New Year, though. Am hoping that 2010 will be more exciting and positive than 2009!
