That was a good movie. Watson was doctorly and capable as an assistant detective and a man with a gun, and he wasn't bumbling about. (So basically, the aspects I disliked about the other Rathbone-Bruce movies weren't a problem here at all.) The plot was clever, and the new characters were interesting. And there were some wonderful Holmes-Watson moments where they show real concern and caring for each other. Well, hopefully some people show up for the next watchalong

I got delayed by a traffic mess and only just got home a few minutes ago. Any chance we can try for this one again next week? Because I really would like to see it.
I wouldn't mind watching it again, but I don't want to have another watchalong for it unless there are more people interested. We can discuss it here though.
Fair enough. I'll throw it into the DVD player when I get home from my doctor's appointment and errands and see what I think. I may just leave comments as if it were a watchalong. It's funny how responding in time gets to be addictive!
Yesterday was a long, weird day, although parts of it went well and the friend who was trying to get me to a closer subway stop so I'd get home in time was trying to be kind, but... *sigh* And then to top off the evening I couldn't get my stupid tv to work (well, the tv worked, the digital converter didn't) so I couldn't watch along with Reichenbach Fall either, and that discussion looked great when I read it this morning.

Oh, well, off to fight with the bank.
