The past couple of days had been eventful. Some good, though the recent attack on her friends was definitely a bad thing. Silvermane knew that they'd probably have to face that violent girl again sometime, but she didn't particularly relish the thought. Ophelia wasn't too far off from her friend. She had been playing in the fountain, or rather, freezing it, and walking around and sliding on it. She did notice, however, that it had been more difficult to control the flow and the 'shape' of the water, but freezing it and shaping it that way had been easier. For now, she thought nothing of it.

She then noticed something shiny further out in the yard, and upon seeing the floating pieces of metal, she spotted Silvermane. She stepped off the frozen water of the fountain. It took her a few moments to melt it and return it back to normal, but as soon as she did, she want over to Silvermane, careful not to startle her, and greeted her with a smile. "Hey! What're you doing?"

Alas, despite Ophelia's efforts to not startle her, Silvermane was startled anyhow. The metal jumped along with her, then came crashing loudly to the ground all around.

"Oh! Ophelia! I d-didn't notice you t-here!" exclaimed Silvermane, her hair spiked out like a frightened meta porcupine.

And WOW WHAT THE OH GOD. Ophelia fell over on her butt. And just staaares for a minute.

"Uhm. Sorry," she says, surpressing the urge to giggle. "Th-that.. wow." She clears her throat, hoping she didn't seem rude. "What were you doing?" she asks, a giggle escaping her.

Silvermane's cheeks flushed bright crimson as she made the effort to force her hair back into its usual ponytail.

"Um...well...i-it was tai chi. My Grampa John taught me that so that I c-could learn to control my powers better." Sheepishly she added, "I found it w-works pretty well, except when I'm startled."
