Since the incident with Thirst, Silvermane had kept a very low profile. She had spent most of her time at the Dragon Society mansion, monitoring weather equipment. Aqualad was back in Jump City for the first time in a while. He was sitting at an outdoor cafe, in civilian clothes, watching people go by as he drank some coffee he'd ordered.

He looked up... and noticed Silvermane's hooded form walking down the street. He could see her face, so he could tell it was her.

Holding up an arm, he waved her over. "Hey, Silvermane!"

Silvermane was glad that the Dragons weren't as high-profile as the Titans were. Positive media attention had been flattering but embarrassing. She didn't think she could handle negative media attention, and had gotten one of the Dragon Society lawyers to make it clear that she'd been battling a powerful murderer in that...messy event.

"Oh, h-hey Aqualad," she said, offering a small smile and a wave before approaching him.

That one statement was enough to stop Silvermane in her tracks, however well-meaning it was. Was it that obvious that she was depressed and worried? She hoped not. Taking a few tentative steps forward, she took a seat across from him.

"Um...well...w-what makes you say that?" she inquired. "I was j-just taking a walk."
