I loved the writing style... to me it could've been a story from the 19th century, it flowed really well, the sentence structure, that great POV.
I also loved the atmosphere you created; that sense of unease and danger is always there. And so many beautiful lines! The "dark establishment" one is probably my favourite, but I don't really want to choose.^^

Thank you for the feedback! It's so nice to hear from another Lucy fan. :-) I like her, too, so I usually have her making a cameo appearance. I'm sorry if some of the stylistic choices didn't work for you - I was going for a very Victorian feel, and the preponderance of commas was part of that. I love to hear what people particularly liked, so thanks for quoting your favourite lines!
